I recently lost 80 pounds, a good portion of it as a result of walking at least one mile every day. It’s amazing being able to be athletic again! I’ve always loved being active, and now is my time to truly enjoy it.
That being said, for me, being more active resulted in having difficulty falling asleep. Sleep is incredibly important for muscle regeneration and oxygenation. It’s a must for any athlete or fitness enthusiast! Sleep, a good diet, and muscle recovery are the trifecta for being a healthy athlete.
So, now I was left with the task of figuring out how to fall asleep and promote muscle regeneration.
That’s where the Soaak Sound Frequency Therapy app came in!
What is Soaak?
Soaak is an app that utilizes sound frequency therapy to help reduce stress, decrease anxiety, boost energy, and aid in healthy sleep.
How Does Soaak Work?
“Soaak sound frequencies can have a wide range of effects on the body, depending on the frequency, duration, and method of exposure. In short, sound frequencies help align the body to a state of balance and optimization. Studies have shown that sound frequencies can have a remarkable impact on sleep patterns. Soaak’s frequencies are designed to gently guide you into a state of tranquility, dissolving anxiety, and bringing serenity to your restless mind.” Credit: Soaak website.
What is Sound Frequency?
“Sound frequency refers to the number of oscillations of sound waves per second, measured in hertz (Hz). Audible frequencies for the human body include sound waves between 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.” Credit: Soaak website
What is Sound Frequency Therapy?
Sound Frequency Therapy is where you listen to a specific frequency to improve certain aspects of your active lifestyle. In this case, we’re speaking about aspects such as anxiety, energy, and sleep.
“Studies show that those exposed to just five minutes of frequency therapy (around 50 Hz) experienced less perceived pain twenty-four hours after their workout than those who did not receive frequencies. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8345543/).” Credit: Soaak website
The Sleep Well frequency has been my favorite so far. I wasn’t sure if it would work, but went into it with an open mind. You can play the frequency as music, original, or nature. I played the nature frequency, relaxed, and waited. The next thing I knew, it was morning! I’m genuinely impressed with how well I fell asleep while listening to the Sleep Well frequency!
The Energy/High Vibrations frequency is my second favorite. I first tried it on a Thursday when I needed energy in the evening after work because I needed to do housework (dishes are never-ending, I swear!). I was lying down listening to the original frequency through my headphones, and about ten minutes later, I got up from the couch, washed the dishes, AND completed a few other tasks. As someone with ADHD, it’s nearly impossible for me to do housework. I was impressed – I almost rely on it now!
A few frequencies.
There are also 21-day programs!
I like to listen to the Accelerated Learning frequency while I’m working (I teach science from home).
Soaak is a great tool if you’re looking to improve energy, focus, sleep, muscle regeneration, and more!
