4 Tips To Reduce Stress If You’re Always On The Go

June 24, 2025 By lyndsinreallife

According to a recent study, “74% of adults have felt so stressed at some point over the past year that they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope.” As such, if you feel as though you’re facing a constant battle with stress and anxiety, you are far from alone.

However, finding ways to overcome this is crucial. This can sometimes feel easier said than done, especially when the majority of guides on coping with stress encourage you to take your foot off the pedal and take a break, which is something that isn’t possible for everyone.

With that in mind, here are some top tips for reducing your stress as someone who is always on the go!

Cut Out Caffeine

Caffeine often feels like the solution to sleepless nights and busy schedules. However, as it’s a stimulant, it could actually be making your stress and anxiety much worse! As such, you can easily make your life less stressful by reducing your caffeine intake as much as you can. While this may take a little getting used to, you’ll find that your energy levels increase naturally over time, meaning you’re no longer inclined to brew a cup of coffee as soon as you get out of bed.

Bring In Some Help

Balancing your career, personal life, and housework can be a challenge, especially when you’re already feeling stressed out. However, this can be easily remedied by calling in for some reinforcements. For example, if you feel like your housework is getting out of hand, you can call in help from companies such as Seattle Green Cleaning Fairy. This means that you’re reducing your daily workload, without having to neglect important tasks.

Keep A To-Do List

While writing down everything you need to do may seem overwhelming, it’s a great way to ensure that you stay on track. It can also help reduce any stress and anxiety you may currently be feeling, as it leaves you feeling as though you are in control of your schedule. Remember to prioritise time-sensitive tasks when putting this to-do list together!

Furthermore, ticking tasks off your list, no matter how small and insignificant they may feel, can actually help boost your mood. This means, once again, you’ll feel a little less stressed.

Talk to Someone

Talking to someone about how you are feeling is another great way to reduce stress, and that’s the case even when they don’t offer you a solution, but simply let you rant away. This is because it allows you to release all of that pent-up negativity you’ve been holding onto, taking a lot of pressure off your shoulders.

Final Thoughts

If you feel as though you are constantly on the go, then stress management may not exactly be your forte. However, there are plenty of steps that you can take to turn things around in this regard without having to make drastic lifestyle changes. This includes talking (or venting) to someone, and asking for help when you need it.
