There are tons of fitness apps out there, but EveryMove is definitely one of my favorites! Their slogan is: good things come to those who sweat. I love it!
I have the app for my iPhone, but the button to take screen shots broke, so I will be sharing photos from my boyfriend’s Android version of the app. It’s awesome though, because now I know what the app is like on both the iPhone and Android, and they’re both great! EveryMove is also available on your desktop computer.

Here’s a little bit of background about EveryMove:
EveryMove is on a mission to get the millions of Americans who are investing in their health the recognition and real-life rewards they deserve! Join an infectious, can-do community of EveryMovers who use their favorite tracking devices and apps to earn points for their active days. Our patent-pending EveryMove points system translates hundreds of different physical activities into a common metric, which allows users the freedom to switch up their tracking devices and workouts and interact with friends, no matter how they choose to move.
Any time I do a workout, I can enter it on the app. I can do this manually, or it also syncs to various workout apps!
These are the four major things you’ll get from using EveryMove:
- Enjoy Tracking Device Freedom
An unparalleled integration infrastructure allows users to sync seamlessly with hundreds of tracking devices, fitness applications, and even gym equipment. Sweat with FitBit, Jawbone UP, Moves, Nike+ Running app, MyFitnessPal, LifeFitness treadmills, and many more!
- Sweat Better Together
Users join a thriving online community where they can connect with friends, co-workers, and family to cheer each other on and compete on leaderboards – no matter how they workout or which devices and apps they use!
- Keep Doing What You Do
EveryMove users can earn points for hundreds of activities, from yoga to yard work, making the platform engaging and accessible to a wide range of active lifestyles. - Reap the Real Life Rewards
On EveryMove, sweat is rewarded with badges, levels, active day bonuses, offers from brands, and charitable donation opportunities.
I have my Nike+ connected to EveryMove, so any time I do a run and record it through Nike+, it automatically syncs. This way, I don’t have to go back in and add it! I’m currently training for my first half marathon, so I definitely love this feature. Running is my favorite way to #sweatpink, so I love how simple it is to incorporate EveryMove into my everyday lifestyle!
The leaderboard is really great because I can keep up with my friends and what they’re doing! All of my friends are pretty active, so when I see that they went out and did something awesome (like completed over 10,000 steps), then I know I need to go out and complete something awesome! It’s great having that extra motivation and support.
You also get to earn points for your activities. The points are universal, and you can get points for any activity completed as long as it’s within the past 14 days. For steps, you only get awarded points if you walk more than 5,000 in a day. As the points add up, you get to earn rewards. In July, I earned 25% off my order of EnergyBits. Just recently, I earned 25% off my order of Health Warrior Chia Bars. Next, I am going to donate $1 to help obliterate cancer with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Active Day bonuses are fun, too! You can “spread the love” with three friends, and that gets you an extra 5 points for the day. Plus you get badges! I received the Home Team badge for doing 3 in-home activities in a week (I cleaned A LOT).

I really like this app. I am trying to figure out what some of the apps are and how I can earn them. Maybe I will find a new activity to try through them 🙂

That’s nice that you can sync it to Nike +, that’s the app I use most frequently to record my runs. I may have to check out this Every Move app. I also nominated you for a Very Inspiring Blogger award! Check out my post to see the details 🙂

This is interesting. My only question is how do they know if you’re just entering workouts without doing them? I mean obviously they don’t so it’s interesting that they will give out stuff – but there’s probably ads so they make money just for people using it.

I think it’s an honor type thing. And none of the rewards are free, they’re just discounts. Or you can donate a dollar to a research fund. I would hope people wouldn’t lie about the workouts, but I guess there are people that do! I don’t see any ads on the app, and I haven’t checked out the website enough to see ads, but probably!
