How To Get Guaranteed Results When Exercising

November 24, 2020 By lyndsinreallife Leave a Comment

It’s no secret that regular exercise is good for your health. So many studies show that exercising can prevent health problems and aid common issues like chronic pain. But, many of you want to work out to see results. As such, it’s demotivating when you try hard and see no changes in your body. From here, you stop exercising – which is a detriment to your health.

How do you see guaranteed results all the time? Believe it or not, it’s not that difficult!

Know Your Goals

The first step is to understand your specific fitness goals. Do you want to maintain your weight? Are you hoping to lose weight or gain muscle? Do you want to be free from chronic pain? All of these goals are different and require different exercise regimes. By figuring out what you want to achieve, you can start putting together a program that targets them. This ensures you don’t waste time doing things that won’t provide the right results.

A great example is someone who wants to gain muscle but only does cardio workouts. You won’t see the desired results, so you’ll get demotivated very fast!

Find Out What Works for Your Body

We’re all different, and some people respond to certain exercises better than others. It’s very scientific and relates to muscle fibers and all that jazz. Still, with companies like Dynamic DNA Laboratories, you can figure out what type of exercise suits your body the best. Effectively, you send a blood test to companies like this and they analyze it to see how your body responds to different stimuli.

In essence, you learn what you should be doing. It’s a great way of making your body more productive when exercising. Again, it’s all about avoiding things that don’t bring you the benefits you’re after.

Be Consistent

The third step is to be consistent. This relates to both your fitness routine and diet. You can’t eat healthily for a week and then go back to your old habits. It won’t provide the results you want to see! Likewise, if you exercise once a week, don’t expect to see the desired results you’re after.

Consistency is key, which is why many people hire personal trainers or find online training programs. I definitely recommend this as you can get a program that tells you what to do and when to do it. There’s a sense of accountability there, but also a schedule. Most people lack exercise consistency because they don’t have a plan and just wing it all the time.

It seems too good to be true – are these three things all you need to see results? Well, yes! Exercise and health are very simple things that have become overly complicated with time. If you want to see results, you need to define your goals. This lets you know what type of exercise you should be doing, and what diet you need to follow. Then, find out what your body responds best to and stay consistent with your training program. Good luck!

4 Wellness Tips to Keep You At Your Healthiest

August 19, 2020 By lyndsinreallife 3 Comments

You should always take your health seriously, and if you haven’t been up until this point, then now is the time to start. No more sitting back and thinking that your health is always going to be okay no matter what you do, because this simply isn’t the case. By not addressing your health and making sure you’re doing everything in your power to keep it in good shape, you are potentially harming yourself. As such, we’re going to be looking at some wellness tips in this article so that you can stay as healthy as you can be. Keep reading down below if you want to find out more.

Pay Attention to What You Eat

You should always pay attention your diet. Everyone has different preferences, different allergies, and that is why what works for one is not going to work for all. You’ve got to create a balanced diet based around what you do eat, and this can be harder than you think. If you are struggling, then you can always talk to a professional, such as a nutritionist, who will be able to help you come up with some fantastic ideas for meals that will keep you within your limits.

It is important that you learn a whole range of ways to cook so that you’re not getting bored with what you are eating. Everything is okay in moderation, so don’t feel like you can’t eat something that you want

just because it isn’t considered healthy. However, when you can, the healthy snacks are going to be the best. For example, you could learn how to roast pumpkin seeds, add these to a meal, or simply eat them on their own. There are so many tasty snacks out there that you could discover if you just open your mind a little more.

Speak To A Medical Professional

Medical professionals have studied for years to get where they are, so you should see them if you think there is something wrong. Even if you just suspect that something is up because you have a hunch, it is always going to be a case of better safe than sorry. You don’t want to not see someone, and then down the line figure out you have an illness that could have been treated earlier, and more effectively. These people are here to help you, so let them do their job and keep you in the best possible health.

Even if you don’t think there is anything wrong with you, you should still be seeing your doctor every six months for a check-up. You never know, there are some silent illnesses out there that don’t have any symptoms, so the only way to know they are there is with tests. You need to be fully informed about your health as well, so if you do have any questions, make sure you ask them.

What About Your Mental Health?

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health, so you’ve got to be taking care of that too. If you notice that something isn’t quite right, take some kind of action. Speak to someone, make a lifestyle change of some sort, or whatever you think is best at the time. Mental health can be tricky, but there are measures in place to ensure that nobody has to suffer on their own. Another scary thing about mental health is that it can start to impact your physical health if it is left unchecked. You could notice things like tiredness, headaches, upset stomach, and a whole range of other symptoms that are linked to your mental health.

Talk to someone, whether that is someone you trust or a professional. A problem shared is a problem halved, and once you’re not dealing with it on your own anymore, everything seems a little more manageable.

Dare You To Move

Finally, we dare you to move. Exercise is crucial to maintaining your health because if you’re not careful, your muscles are going to lose mass, making you weak. Even something as simple as walking for half an hour per day is good enough to keep this away. You can complete higher intensity workouts if you like depending on what your goal is, but the minimum is to go for a walk at least four times per week.

We hope that you have found this article helpful. You should now know some of the best wellness tips that will keep you as healthy as possible. Put these into practice, and your health should stay in good condition, hopefully, for years to come.

How To Find A Worthwhile Fitness Community

August 18, 2020 By lyndsinreallife Leave a Comment

Social support is one of the biggest motivators for a wide range of reasons. Think about it this way. You know you need to change and start working out to get healthier. A friend agrees with you, they’re in the same predicament. You decide that it would be better to work out together, to help one another push past the limits you might otherwise artificially place on yourselves.

You set the date. You’ll attend the gym at 8am on a Thursday. When Thursday morning rolls around, and you feel tired, what will you do? Call it off? But you’ve been waiting all week for it. No, you choose to push through so as not to let your friend down. They decide to do the same. Repeat this five times, and you have a habit. Repeat this ten times, and now dropping out becomes even harder. Repeat this thirty times, and you have a close friend and workout buddy you can measure results together with.

Community is powerful like that. It can help you become your best self. But how can we find the best community, in all manner of fitness considerations? With the following advice:

Try Reddit

Reddit is a golden resource for many reasons. If you have a particular plan or program that you follow, from Couch 2 5k to weightlifting in general, you will meet people there who are more than interested in seeing what you have to offer. Reddit offers people young and old, beginner or advanced, to share tips and come together with an understanding of what is most appropriate. From diet advice (keto, intermittent fasting etc) to simply finding motivation, this can be a golden resource in your journey.

Stick Within Your Program

Sticking within your program can also be a fantastic means of meeting new people. Let’s say you’re beginning with Stronglifts or Starting Strength. You can BET that the people interested in those programmes will be more than able to help you out with them. From figuring out how to spend your deload week, to the best supplements to take, to helping convince you that you never need overbearing fitness gear to perform well, sticking within your program can help you become a fan of it, and it helps you excel within that space.

Find Classes & Leadership Sessions

There are many excellent leadership classes and sessions out there that help you connect to more people who share your mindset. Fitness is a way of life, but so is business growth, and so is making the best out of your leadership skills. If you can combine those things together and surround yourself with people who are positive, forward-thinking, and also members of the Fiesta app, you’ll no doubt combine your output together and become fit in not only health, but in the mindset it takes to live a life like this. That can only be a positive route forward.

With this advice, we hope you can more easily find your community, and share success in achievement of your goals.

5 Reasons You Need To Start Drinking More Water Now!

July 7, 2020 By lyndsinreallife 2 Comments

Photo by Vitalii Pavlyshynets on Unsplash

People are always telling you that you need to drink more water, but you just keep forgetting, or maybe you find that a Diet Coke is better for quenching your thirst than plain, tasteless water.

The reason we keep hearing this advice is because it works (and it’s 100% necessary for survival).  Staying well-hydrated on a regular basis really does give life-changing benefits to your body, both inside and out.

Getting Your H20

For those of us lucky enough to have clean water supplied directly to our homes, there’s no reason that we shouldn’t be drinking our gallon+ per day.  If you’re not sure about the quality of water in your home, invest in a water filter jug or special tap that filters the water at the source.  Take a look at this article to find out what could be causing your water to taste weird and what you can do about it.

Still skeptical? Here are just five of the many benefits of drinking more water:

Improve Your Memory

Our bodies are made up of about 60% water so it’s important that we keep our levels topped up.  Even just being slightly dehydrated can affect your memory and ability to concentrate.

So if you want to get that mental edge at work, you know what to do!

Reduce Headaches

Headaches can strike for a number of reasons, so if you’re a person who finds themselves getting frequent headaches and migraines, make sure to reach for a big drink of water (as well as the ibuprofen). *I’m not a medical professional and this is only a recommendation from my opinion.*

Control Your Appetite

Your body often finds it difficult to distinguish between hunger and thirst.  The problem is, we often reach for a sugary treat before we think about reaching for a glass of water. When you feel hungry, try drinking a glass of water first, and see if your hunger subsides. I’ll be honest, this happens to me all the time!

Being hydrated is also an important part of weight maintenance and weight loss. Having water before and with meals can help you feel full quicker, so you’ll (generally) eat less.

Lower Your Risk Of Bladder Infections

Women get a raw deal when it comes to bladder infections; we are much more prone to urinary infections than men.  Luckily, drinking water can reduce the frequency and severity of cystitis and kidney infections.

So remember to drink a lot of water and urinate frequently during the day! This is the best way to push out the bacteria. *If you feel like you have an infection, see a doctor as soon as possible. Antibiotics are needed when an infection is present.

Improve Your Performance At The Gym

Exercise makes us sweat, and most of us know to rehydrate after a workout session. But it’s important that we hydrate before exercising, too! Hydration makes a big difference in how we feel during and after a workout.

Having a good level of water in your body can be the difference between a mediocre session and a great one.  The more water you drink, the more stamina you’ll have to get through your workout.

How Much Water Do You Need?

The general consensus is that the average adult needs half of their weight in ounces of water per day (ex: if you weigh 200 pounds, you need to drink 100 ounces of water daily). Ideally, this should be plain water, but other drinks without sugar are acceptable. Try not to drink too many diet drinks as even though they contain fewer calories, they are full of synthetic sweeteners.

If you’re exercising or in a hot climate, then you’ll be losing much more water through sweating, so you will need to up your daily intake.

•Do you drink enough water? What do you do to make sure you’re consuming enough water?

Working out at home is one of the ways you can stay fit while social distancing is happening. Exercise is always important, but even more so now. It helps keep you healthy, keeps your mental health in check, and gives you something to do to give some structure to your day.

Challenge yourself with a HIIT workout

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts are a fantastic way to exercise. They’re short, sharp and super high-energy – not something for the faint-hearted. But that’s all part of the fun! HIIT workouts provide a fast-paced, challenging session that will help you tone up while losing fat, plus help to improve your cardio health. Get yourself a rebounder

If you’re looking for a great way to exercise, get yourself a rebounder. But what is rebounding on a trampoline? While many people have trampolines in their backyards for the kids, this is a type of equipment that’s more suited to the adults in the family. With so many great exercises you can do on a rebounder, it’ll certainly liven up your fitness routine.

Try partner exercises

Working out with someone else is a great way to stay motivated, so why not give some partner exercises a try? There are some great partner exercises you can do with a resistance band, as well as bodyweight moves. Partner workouts can be fun, challenging and could even bring you closer together – making for one highly effective way of working out!

Join a group workout with friends

Video calls have become a part of people’s daily routines, with both work and social lives taking place on applications like Zoom. But have you thought about doing a group workout with friends online? A video workout can be a fun way of spending time together and help you look forward to a workout. You could follow another video together, or task someone to design the workout each time! This is an ideal solution for those who miss going to classes and want a bit of company when they work out.

Staying motivated to exercise is never easy, but there are a lot of things you can try while in quarantine to stay on top of your fitness. Check out some more fun ways to workout at home to help you stay strong and healthy and keep on top of your fitness goals!

4 Tips For People That Feel Self Conscious About Exercising

May 5, 2020 By lyndsinreallife 1 Comment

We all know that exercise is important, but if you are an anxious person and you haven’t exercised much in the past, you may be feeling self conscious about it (example: me). Many people find the idea of working out in a busy gym or running in public quite scary, so they put it off. But it’s important that you find a way to overcome these fears so you can stay fit and healthy. These are some of the best tips for people that feel self conscious about exercising!

Buy Stylish Workout Clothes

When you wear nice clothes that you like, it gives you a confidence boost and that is true for a lot of people when they exercise as well. If you spend some time picking out some nice workout clothes, like these stars and stripes leggings, for example, you will feel a bit better about yourself. This isn’t going to solve the problem completely, but it can help you when your confidence is low and you are worried about working out. Investing in good quality workout clothes will also help you to stay motivated as well.

Start At Home

Many people are worried that they will be judged by others at the gym because they are beginners and their workouts are not advanced. It’s daunting to go into a gym and start lifting small weights right next to somebody that is more advanced, but it’s important to remember that everybody is there for themselves and they are not paying attention to what you are doing. However, if you are still worried about it, why not start working out at home first? You can build your fitness up and get a bit of confidence before you start working out in public, and that will help a lot. There are some great online workout videos that you can follow to get started. When you do feel confident enough, look for some beginner workout classes where everybody will be in the same boat as you.

Workout With A Friend

Having a friend with you when you workout can help a lot if you are feeling self conscious. You can focus on what you are doing and a bit of moral support goes a long way to boosting your confidence. Most people find that their workout sessions are more effective when they have somebody else there to motivate them as well, so you will get more out of it.

Pick The Right Gym

When you feel comfortable about going into a gym, it’s important that you look at a few different options and pick one that works for you. For example, many women feel a lot more comfortable working out in a gym that has a women-only section. When you look around a gym, go at the time that you would normally exercise so you can see how busy it is. If you can find one that will be relatively quiet when you are there, that will help a lot.

If you feel self conscious about exercising, follow these tips and you will be able to build up your confidence!

Fun Ways to Stay Fit This Spring and Summer

March 12, 2020 By lyndsinreallife 3 Comments

https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-in-white-one-piece-swimsuit-doing-yoga-3317185/

Has the winter weather turned you into a bit of a couch potato? It’s easily done, when it’s cold, wet, and windy outside, it’s tempting to just stay home, pull a blanket over you, and eat lots of snacks while watching Netflix! When spring rolls back around, many of us start thinking about our exercise regimens again and looking into ways to get back outdoors, start having fun, and burn off some of the winter weight we’ve accumulated. One of the best things about the warmer weather is it naturally makes you want to be outside, and when you’re up and out, you’re much more likely to be being active. Here are a few fun activities you can add to your summer workout schedule.

Go on hikes

Lace up your walking boots, fill a backpack with a few supplies such as a map, some water and a light lunch and get out for a day of hiking! You could go rambling along hills and mountains, you could walk through gorgeous countryside, through forests, wherever you have near you that’s suitable. Hiking helps you to feel at one with nature as you really have time to take it all in as you walk, it’s such great cardiovascular exercise but unlike other forms of activity doesn’t feel overwhelmingly like hard work because you’re busy enjoying your surroundings. It’s the perfect way to take in natural beauty, get some great photos and enjoy an outdoor lunch. Plan the route depending on the time you have and your fitness level, but the good thing about any kind of hiking and walking is that if you’re struggling you can always slow down on steep hills or sit down and catch your breath for a while if you need to. It’s all at your own pace. You don’t need any special equipment meaning it’s very accessible, just be sure to wear properly fitting shoes to avoid blisters, corns and calluses.

Go on day trips

Going on a fun day out, whether it’s to the zoo, the theme park, a trip to a new city, or a shopping expedition, you’ll naturally do a whole lot of walking. Since you’re occupied by whatever else you’re doing that day you won’t notice until much later when your body starts to ache that you’ve actually done some fantastic exercise. Going on day trips is a great way to spend time with family and friends, plus get outside and do something fun, so the fact that you’ll be doing a lot of walking and moving around is just an added bonus. It just goes to show that exercise and staying healthy and fit doesn’t always have to involve structured workouts or the gym. Sometimes you can just get out and about and enjoy life, and staying fit and active is a result of that.

Get out your bike

Do you have a bike in the shed that’s collecting dust and cobwebs? Get it out, pump up the tires and test the brakes, as getting out on your bike is one of the best kinds of exercise you can do. Not only is it loads of fun (for most of us it will definitely bring back childhood nostalgia) but it’s really good exercise. You’ll pump your heart and lungs giving you a full cardiovascular workout, plus it’s good for toning and sculpting legs and glutes. Have a look online for local cycle routes near you, if you can find something scenic then all the better. If not, put your bike in the car and head out somewhere where they have great places to ride. Don’t forget your puncture repair kit and always wear your helmet too. If you’re going to be riding at dawn or dusk anywhere near roads (such as cycling to work) it’s crucial that you have a light on your bike- you should wear a high visibility vest too to avoid accidents.

Go for a swim

When the weather is cold and wet, it can be a struggle to find the motivation to get in the pool and know you’re going to come out with wet hair and feeling generally damp and uncomfortable. However, when the sun is shining and temperatures soar, jumping in that pool can be the most refreshing thing in the world. Hit your local pool and do some laps; any stroke you choose will work out just about every muscle in your body. Other options would be to put on a wetsuit and go swimming in the ocean or lake, or enjoy activities like surfing or paddleboarding.

Play some outdoor sports

Lots of parks and recreational centers have outdoor courts for things like tennis, badminton, and basketball which you can use for free or hire for a small fee. Another option would be to play volleyball on the beach if you live near the coast. Rope in some friends and enjoy the friendly competition while soaking up the glorious weather and getting your body moving.

Practice yoga on the beach (or anywhere!)

Another great beach activity, if you’re lucky enough to live near one, is practicing yoga. If you go early in the morning and set up your mat, you can take in the views as you practice, it’s so relaxing and can set your day off to a really great start. Alternatively, practicing late in the evening as the sun sets can be the perfect way to wind down and prepare for a relaxed night. Yoga is as much about the mind as it is the body, so a relaxed and beautiful environment can really help with your practice.

The Incredible Long-Term Benefits Of Regular Exercise

March 4, 2020 By lyndsinreallife 2 Comments

Everyone should try and do as much exercise as possible. Aside from being excellent for your fitness, there are plenty of long-term benefits that can improve your whole life. Most people just associate exercise with getting stronger and looking better. But here are the other ways it will benefit you – if you remain consistent!

Image from Pexels (CC0 License)

Improve cognitive function

Cognitive function is a bit of a buzzword these days. Everyone’s talking about it, and you can see websites like Health Naturals selling nootropics that target your cognitive abilities. Effectively, it’s the idea of your brain health. Cognitive function refers to things like memory, processing speed, ability to multitask, etc. It’s something we should all look to improve, and regular exercise can do just that. If you work out regularly every week, then you can improve your memory, develop better problem-solving skills, and increase your ability to process lots of information very quickly.

Enhance your mental health

It’s worth remembering that your fitness journey isn’t all about your physical health. Yes, this is a big part of it, but you also want to think about your mental health. It’s proven that regular exercise will have positive long-term benefits on your mental health and wellbeing. This is because working out releases hormones that make you feel happy and elated. Not only that, but the physical changes you experience will lift your mood and boost your self-confidence. As a result, you can become less anxious, less depressed, and feel a lot better about yourself. This leads to a much clearer mind that’s free from many of your mental demons.

Reduce the risk of diseases

Exercise also helps ward off a lot of common diseases. Mainly, there’s a lot of evidence that supports the notion that regular exercise can reduce cardiovascular diseases. In simple terms, it lowers the risk of heart diseases. This is because exercising will rid your body of bad cholesterol that can clog up your arteries and cause problems for your heart. There’s also the link between being overweight and having an increased risk of heart disease. Therefore, by exercising and losing weight, you will lower the risks once more.

Improve your ability to carry out daily tasks

Daily activities are easier for you to complete when you exercise. Your body begins to develop more muscle tone, your sense of balance can improve, and this means you’re able to do loads of things without suffering from pain or putting yourself at risk. For example, when you get older, you reduce the chances of falling down because your balance and spatial awareness are better. Even right now, you can play with your kids or go shopping for hours on end without feeling too tired. So, don’t underestimate the importance that regular exercise will have on your daily routine.

If you ever doubted the benefits of exercise, then all your doubts should be wiped out by now! Everyone should try and exercise at least 30 minutes every week – preferably more. You will definitely see benefits that extend beyond your physical fitness and appearance. Basically, if you want a happier life, then exercise!

Back 2 Basics: Simple Equipment For Workouts

September 1, 2019 By lyndsinreallife Leave a Comment

What puts many people off from working out is the fact that you tend to need a million different things with you when you go to the gym. You need legwear in the way of joggers, spandex, or shorts. You need tops that breathe and soak up your sweat, made from spandex or synthetic fiber. Then you need trainers and gel soles which can bend and absorb your weight under pressure. You need gloves for lifting or some kind of wrist wrap support that will protect your joints. You also need wrist and headbands to keep the sweat from going into your eyes and giving your slippery hands. These days having a heartbeat monitor and calorie burning watches are standard practice, too. But what if you don’t have the time nor the money to go to the gym dressed in all this gear? Then you can buy some very simple yet effective workout equipment which you can use anywhere, preferably in your own home.

Free for Cardio Burning

There are a number of workout options for those that want to improve their cardio at home. First, you have to realize that raising your heart rate above a certain level is all you should be aiming for. When you do this, your body begins to burn fat. So things like aerobics, pilates, and yoga can be incredibly useful for those that want to workout at home. But for all of those exercises to be done safely, you need yoga mats. These will protect your feet and joints when you’re leaning heavily on them, absorb your weight to keep you stable, and also give your feet grip and comfort. Foam is the main material used for such products, as it bounces back under its own tension, so it lasts a long time. These mats can be simply rolled away when done with.

Single Arm Workouts

Dumbbells are one of the most versatile tools you can use anywhere in the home. They don’t take up much room and they can be disassembled, so they don’t pose a dangerous threat to children and pets. However, you should consider getting rubber dumbbells rather than metal, as these provide you with a lot more control. The kind of workouts you can do are great for achieving a toned body or even putting on muscle mass. Simple curling and extending exercises can be done either standing or sitting down. Everything from bicep curls, tricep extensions, shoulder presses, and wrist curls can be done in a 1-meter squared space.

Hopping To It

As you have seen many athletes do, jumping rope is a great cardio workout. You’re using just your legs and your momentum to continually hop over and over. It keeps the heart rate going and the cognitive skills alert. Jumping ropes cost next to nothing as well, but there are many professional options which have modern designs made for beginners, such as end grips.

Going back to basics is sometimes where we all need to go. You can get great workouts from just sitting or standing if you have the right tools, such as dumbbells and yoga mats.

What You Should Be Thinking About To Achieve A Healthy Lifestyle

August 22, 2019 By lyndsinreallife 1 Comment

Quite often seen as an impossible task, or something that requires a lot of commitment and hard work, is a healthy lifestyle. We all want to make sure we’re making the most of our time, and living a good, long life is part of that. In order to make sure we are achieving this, we need to spend a little time to take an active approach when it comes to our health. But it doesn’t need to be hard work. You will always get the people who seem to just naturally be healthy, however, they will be most likely be achieving the goal of a healthy lifestyle from making simple everyday choices.

Photo by Ella Olsson from Pexels

Have a look below at some of the things you can focus on to help achieve a healthy lifestyle without it becoming stressful or a constant worry:

 Regular Health Checks

It should go without saying that regular health checks should be something that is high up on the list as a priority when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. Although we don’t always like to hear that we’re not as healthy as we should be, we need a filling at the dentist, or we need help with areas such as our hearing, it doesn’t make it any less important. You should take the time to learn more about the importance of looking after your teeth, ears, and eyes. This is something that we need to do, not just for ourselves, but so we can set the right example to our children. If we’re trying to get them to look after their health, we need to be doing the same. If we have a problem with our teeth, even though we may be scared of the dentist, we have to bite the bullet, for the sake of our loved ones. And if your children have these concerns, you can point them towards resources such as Bright Smiles Pediatric Dentistry to help demystify the process. But this is something we can all learn from.

What You Consume

An essential part of a healthy lifestyle is the food and drink that you consume. It’s something that we deal with every day. We know it has a huge effect on our overall health. We will ultimately end up unhealthy, stressed, overweight, tired, and agitated if we don’t consume the right food and the right quantities. Look at areas such as:

·     The Food You Eat – Try to make sure you are sticking to a well-balanced diet.

·         Vitamins and Supplements- It’s a popular choice to use these to help achieve a healthy lifestyle.

·         Alcohol – Try to minimize binge drinking.

·         Water–  It’s not a big secret that we need water to survive. We naturally consume water throughout the day, so it’s important to top this up as the day goes on.

Exercise Regularly

Exercise is definitely a key part of any healthy lifestyle, but it doesn’t need to be a task that we all dread. The best way of achieving the goal of daily activity in your life is to stop thinking about it as exercise. Yes, that is much easier said than done, but making small changes like walking to the store, going for a family bike ride, or for a stroll up the beach, rather than lying down, means you won’t feel the pressure of exercising, but being more active. Try to think about:

·   Being Active for at Least 30 Mins- This can be doing the housework, cleaning the car, walking to the store, or it can simply be an exercise video from YouTube.

·         Find an Activity You Enjoy- If you hate running or swimming, don’t do them. Try a few things until you find one you like.

·         Involve Your Family or friends- You are much more likely to achieve this if you have support, so get everyone involved! They need it, too.
