How do you fuel yourself before a workout? I had the opportunity to try out Vega Sport‘s pre-workout energizer (acai berry flavor), and I’m pretty intrigued!
I just recently started using pre-workouts. I am training for a half marathon, and pre-workouts help a lot for my training. Vega Sport is entirely plant-based, so it’s good for your body and good for the planet. The pre-workout energizer does three things:
- provides immediate and sustained energy
- increases endurance, aerobic and anaerobic capacity
- enhances mental focus
Vega Sport is running a #fuelyourbetter campaign, so I wanted to share my experience of how I fuel better with Vega. Vega asks on their website, “what holds you back?” Mine is motivation. I am often tired and, well, un-motivated. Having an energizer that I can take before a run is incredibly helpful! Plus the Vega Sport pre-workout is DELISH! It has a bit of a bland taste to it, but it only has 12g of sugar, so I can deal with the bland taste knowing it won’t give me a sugar rush. It gives me the perfect amount of energy without feeling jittery, shaky, or itchy (like other pre-workouts tend to do).
I love the #VegaSportPWE because it is gluten, soy, and dairy free, contains only 70 calories, only 12g of sugar, and is plant-based. Granted, I don’t follow a plant-based diet, but it makes Vega Sport a great option for those who are vegan and vegetarian.
