I was in the best shape of my life when I did Pilates. I really need to add it back in to my mornings. Finding an on line instructor that does not bore me is the challenge. I have my trusty Denise Austin DVD I am throw on though :0)

I need to get back into Pilates soo badly! I was really strong and lean when I took classes (back in college haha). I’ll have to look into Denise Austin!!

This is a great post and infographic; thanks for sharing! I like to incorporate both into my workouts. I tried the PIlates reformer for the first time a couple months ago and it was life-changing. Definitely works my core in different ways than yoga.

I was into pilates way before I even knew what yoga was haha. I do more yoga now, but I definitely want to do more pilates! 🙂

Pilates gets your blood flowing. More specifically, the relaxation exercises you learn in yoga can help your circulation, especially in your hands and feet. Pilates also gets more oxygen to your cells, which function better as a result.

I do love Pilates! I always get a good sweat going and find that it makes me leaner.
